Talisman, Opal
A substantial 1.28-carat Ethiopian opal at the center of the evil eye motif, surrounded by a full halo of twenty-eight pavé lab diamonds, in 10k yellow gold. The stone's internal fire does the work the design used to need. The profile sits a deliberate 10.7 millimeters off the finger — closer to an heirloom cocktail ring than a pinky. Part of a small pair of talismans in this drop, each made once. This one is built around light; its twin is built around color.

The pictured piece is a size 6 in 10k yellow gold set with a 1.28 ct Ethiopian opal; made-to-order stones will fall within 0.2 ct of the pictured weight and matched as closely as possible to its color and character. Production begins after your order is placed. Please allow 3–6 weeks from purchase to delivery.

Care
Solid gold is durable enough for daily wear, including water exposure. Note on opal: Opal is softer than most fine jewelry stones (5.5–6.5 Mohs) and can craze with sudden temperature change. We recommend removing Talisman, Opal before swimming, bathing, or exercising, and avoiding ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Wipe gently with a soft damp cloth. For all other pieces in the drop: high-impact activity and harsh chemicals are the only real enemies.
