Vintage Pearl Necklace with 6.19ctw Floating Diamonds, 18"

Eighteen inches of vintage pearls in 4–5 millimeters — pale, with the faintest peach undertone — hand-strung in silk by Catherine, with five lab diamonds floating through the chain on yellow-gold jump rings. The center is a 3.59-carat oval-cut lab diamond. Two near-matched pear cuts at 0.96 and 0.97 carats flank it. Two smaller ovals close the line on either side.

Each diamond is laser-drilled through the table and suspended through the chain itself. The composition is more spacious than the shorter Tidework pieces — fewer stones, longer line — and built for the kind of daily wear an oval at this scale can take without announcement. A strand worn open at a collar, under a knit, beside a stack of finer chains.

Latitude is named in the same vein as Longitude — geographic, measured, with one major stone setting the line.
