Longshore
Forty-one inches of vintage ombrè pearl strand — white pearls warming to peach as they move — interrupted at six points by floating lab diamonds: a 2.08-carat marquise, a 1.06-carat bullet, a 1-carat pear in light yellowish grey, a 1.01-carat Ashoka, a 1.04-carat hexagon, a 1.22-carat heart. Each cut was chosen to read differently in the light; worn long or doubled, the strand is a different object at each length.
