Ceruleana

$1,525.00

A 0.94-carat fancy vivid blue marquise-cut lab diamond on a round shank, in 10k white gold. Fancy vivid is the rarest saturation grade in blue — above fancy intense — and most lab growers can't reliably produce it. The white gold lets the stone do its full work. Ceruleana is the Latin root of the word for the color of deep water.

The Object
  • Name: Ceruleana
  • Silhouette: Round shank solitaire
  • Edition: One of one
  • Size: US 6
  • Collection: Pinky Ring Drop, Spring 2026
The Stone
  • Type: Lab-grown diamond
  • Cut: Marquise
  • Carat weight: 0.94 ct
  • Color: Fancy vivid blue
  • Clarity: Eye-clean
  • Dimensions: 9.81 × 4.88 × 2.11 mm
  • Accent stones: None
  • Color significance: Fancy vivid is the highest saturation grade in colored diamonds — above fancy intense — and is especially rare in blue, requiring precise boron saturation during growth. The color depth in this stone is exceptional.
The Metal
  • Metal: 10-karat solid white gold
  • Gold content: 41.7% pure gold (417 stamp)
  • Gold weight: 2.05 grams
  • Shank: 1.7 × 1.7 mm
  • Finish: High polish, rhodium plated
  • A note on 10k: 10-karat gold is the strongest everyday gold alloy — more scratch- and dent-resistant than 14k or 18k. White gold in particular was chosen here to keep the stone's blue saturation pure; yellow metal behind a cool-toned diamond will always mute its color.

Care

10-karat gold is durable enough for daily wear, including water exposure. For longevity, we recommend removing the ring during high-impact activity (weight training, rock climbing, manual labor) and avoiding direct contact with harsh chemicals including chlorine, bleach, and acidic cleaners. A soft-bristled brush and mild soap in warm water is sufficient for home cleaning. We offer complimentary lifetime polishing and inspection on every piece.
