A 0.51-carat D VVS2 heart-cut lab diamond bezel-set inside a 10k yellow gold heart, framed by tiny yellow gold bows on either side and carried on 6.5 inches of hand-strung vintage white pearls. The clasp is a reclaimed 14k yellow gold bead clutch — saved from a pile I’d planned to melt. The heart at the center is the piece; everything else is built to hold it.
